There was no Standard Bearer's event in 2002 due to the Baronial Transition. This first Standard Bearers of Ephriam and Madelaine was held at Camp Cheerful, the site of many a past event, the day was bright and sunny. Christina of the Black Rose Inn was the event steward, Ealdred took care of the feast.

But they wished to recognize three people: Lady Alex for her work with the glass guild, Edward Brackenburye and Guenhwyvar MacEwen for their work organizing scribal classes
