Lord Kari almost joined the SCA at a much younger age as his father, Sir Garanhir, is a knight in the East Kingdom. He attended Pennsic 13 as a toddler, but doesn't remember it! His first event was the Coronation of Laurlen and Ithriliel in 1981. Kari is an enthusiastic man at arms to Syr Theo and a member of the recently formed Throthiem household which is made up of members from Cleftlands and South Oaken who all have an interest in early Norse culture. He's interested in Scaldic verse, and singing too. Lastly he is well versed in viking mythology and religious reconstruction lore. Kari is the current "Iron Key" officer in charge of loaner armor for fighters for the Barony
