About the Event
The 12th Annual Standard Bearers was held on a sunny day in April. The price for competition in the tournaments was, as usual, a tale to tell at the feast. The theme this year was Why are you still in the SCA? Many fabulous tales were told of companionship and fun. Of special note, Artair won the title of Baronial Armored Champion for competing on the rattan combat list and shooting remarkably well for only having five arrows. This was also the fist appearance of Antarcus Valentior and Guenhwyvar MacEwen's daughter.
