The last regional A&S Competition in the Cleftlands was twelve years previous, so many members of the populace were excited by this opportunity. The day was bright and sunny and a warm 70 degrees; perfect! Co-Autocrats Dulcia Wylde and Milesent Vibert were both new to the role. Angharad was the experienced head of the kitchen and site liaison. Dmitrii served as the Gatekeeper. The site was Grace Church in Willoughby, OH.

Giovanna Giovanelli organized a full spectrum of classes which were remarkably well attended. Teachers came from as far away as Indianapolis and Michigan to lend their talents to the day!

Erszebet organized the Craftsperson's Faire; a populace-vote arts competition without documentation required. The entries for the Craftsperson's Faire were amazing including a helm by Syr Theo, a stained glass window by Lady Alex, a display of pigments by Master Aiden, a painted plate by Pietro, an illumination by Elena, Meads by Zuriel, Cordials by (Shlomo?), woven trims by Halla, Dyed eggs, and a slat bed! The Faire prize went to Elena, a pair of viking chairs made by Dulcia and her father. Second prize went to I forget.

There were a whopping 27 entries (plus one mail in entry) for the A&S Faire (Compared to 15 entries the year before!). And plenty of judges as well.

In the Standard Bearer Competitions; Christopher won Champion d'arc, Ealdred won Champion d'Epé, Cais was chosen as Champion d'arms and Stephan Von Lübeck won the Standard.

In the evening court it was also announced that Edward Brackenburye and Milesent Vibert had been selected to be the Third Baron and Baroness of the Cleftlands. Also at the event, Milesent became an apprentice to Mistress Elwynor.
