Standard Bearers 2004 XII

lovely day at Camp Cheerful, April 24, 2004. Snowden event stewardted, James l'Huake was head cook, James Barkley won Champion d'arc, Lie de Curamac won Champion d'epé, Artair won Champion d'arms for doing well on the heavy list and shooting remarkably well on the archery field despite having only 5 arrows. Rutgur von Stutgart won the Standard. Katrine del Val organised a lady's solar which featured a book binding class by Pietro.

The price for competition was, as usual, to tell a tale at the feast. The theme this year was "Why are you still in the SCA?" Many tales were told of companionship and fun.

Sadly, the event did not turn a profit, which is very rare for a Standard Bearer's event.

This was the very first event appearance outside the womb of Guenhwyfar and Antarcus's lovely little girl.
