About the Event

For the third time at the Berea county Fairgrounds, co-event stewards Bernhard Stürmære and Sarra Bossard out did themselves! Sarra's brilliant idea of using carports to trap in heat and baffle sound worked wonderfully and transformed the bare hall into a bustling Medieval market with merchant stalls mixed in amongst the carport classrooms. Edward FitzRanulf coordinated a list of classes to rival any collegium with many distinguished instructors.

Francesca di Simoneto coordinated the buffet-style feast with plenty of food and once again a miracle in a hall without a kitchen! Sibylla led dancing throughout the feast and after and for once even the dance mistress got her full of lively steps and music. Zsof once again coordinated a breakfast bar which made a substantial profit and provided much-needed coffee all day. Eva Stürmære ran a well-received lunch.

Farthegn Rinksson ran several tournaments including a five man spear tournament based on the contests of the bridges of Venice in history. Each event attendee received as a site token a strip of cloth in a different color which matched one of the teams.
