Vashti the Gypsy had her premiere as an event steward (she had been an assistant event steward in the past, but this was her first go at heading an event on her own.) The site was the Woods King Armoury in Highland Hills and Jonathan headed the feast. It was a lovely bright day, a little chill and windy (which did not daunt the archers!) Milesent headed an A&S Solar on the theme of a Turkish coffee house which had coffee and tea all day, classes and conversation.

The price for competing was, as has become traditional, a story. The Baron and Baroness set the theme as "Your first love (activity, not person) in the SCA, and what do you want to pursue next?"

The 15th Annual Standard Bearers was held at the Woods King Armory in Highland Hills, OH on a brisk but sunny April day. [[Milesent Vibert]] headed an Arts & Sciences Solar with a Turkish coffee house theme complete with all day classes and conversation. The fee for entering the Standard Bearers competition, as dictated by tradition, was a story. The theme of the story was ''Your first love'' in relation to activity and not person, and what they planned to pursue next.


Jared of Coventry won the Champion d'arc in a very closely contested shoot with a tie-breaker shoot with Christopher. Ealdred of Gwyntarian dominated the rapier list becoming the champion d'epeé. Silverthorn of Draconmoor, newly freed from his duties as Khan of the Dark Horde Moritu and able to wear Cleftlands colors again, won the standard. Cynwrig ap Llwellyn was chosen as the first ever Champion d'arms who was not a heavy weapons combatant.
