February's chill was no deterrent to the Cleftlands in 1980. We held a Candlemas celebration at St. Helen and Constantine.
Despite the cold, Candlemas in the Cleftlands was held at St. Helen and Constantine church in early 1980. Of note, an unsuspecting Maria of Oxenford was pulled out of the kitchen to attend her elevation to the Order of the Laurel.

Queen Emelyn and King Alen were in attendance and held court. Maria of Oxenford was elevated to the order of the laurel, and had to be pulled out of the kitchen to receive her elevation!
