A new tradition was started in the Cleftlands in March of 1992, a tournament to determine which worthy fighter would have the honor of bearing our Baronial standard into battle should the king call us to war. Our Baron, Laurelen, autocrat-ed the event himself which was held at Baker Hall on the campus of Case Western Reserve University. William Ransom, no Sir before his name in those days, was the victor.
