Sir Lorimer MacAltin of the Garioch, Thegn Flaming Gryphon was knighted 16 August, 1981 (A.S. 16) at the tenth Pennsic War. Sir Lorimer was squire to Duke Sir Fionnvar de Taahe, and later trained with Duke Syr Laurelen. He was the founding Baron of the Barony of Flaming Gryphon in the Midrealm, and moved to Cleftlands March 1987 and relocated to the Kingdom of Aethelmearc in late 2022.
