Pietro tried his hand at event steward-ing for the 1997 standard bearer's event with the help of Cailen. Gaffer took charge of the feast and the Solon Armory once again provided shelter for this small, local event.
Dugal Kerr won the right to bear the Standard in a close competition, he won by only one bout.
