The site for our first Fall Standard Bearers was Juliane Beachamp's farm, in Eastwatch. The day was bright and clear (fortunately!)
It was also Their Excellencies wedding anniversary so there was a cake.
The Standard Bearer competition was very closely contested between Tariq, Ealdred and Lyonnete. Ealdred had one more win than Tariq; but in hind sight Lyonnete could have been chosen as she was the only one of the three to defeat the other two winning both against Ealdred and Tariq. (One of Baroness Milesent's great regrets of the day is not selecting Lyonnete who in all ways has the heart of a champion.)
Best received by the populace was certainly the choice of Gylis as Champion d'arms.
