Patraic is fond of the history and culture of the society, frequently seen at events listening to the varied and interesting stories of his fellow SCA participants. A 9th century wanderer, his name Mael Patraic, means "Servant of St. Patrick..." since Patrick was too holy of a name to have by itself at the time. He is a member of the House Darkyard's Pennsic friends Legio Draconis.
