	Patraic is fond of the history and culture of the society, frequently seen at events listening to the varied and interesting stories of his fellow SCA participants. A 9th century wanderer, his name Mael Patraic, means "Servant of St. Patrick..." since Patrick was too holy of a name to have by itself at the time. He is a member of the House Darkyard's Pennsic friends Legio Draconis. Also Patraic is a recently published author of the book The Knights Next Door which talks about his experiences as a newcomer to the society (more details are available on his website www.knightsnextdoor.com.)		Patraic is fond of the history and culture of the society, frequently seen at events listening to the varied and interesting stories of his fellow SCA participants.
